THE GENERATIONAL DANGER.

Grace. The bible informs that God created Adam and Eve in his image, blessed them, and commanded them to be fruitful….” Genesis 1:26-28, NIV. According to the Bible, Adam and Eve are the parents of the human race. Our fore-parents fell into sin that follows humanity Genesis chapter 3. The excellent story of Joseph’s family in the bible stands out that situations do not stop someone from being fruitful because God is our help. The narrative helps a person care to disclose dreams to the people who can support them, make plans to grow, and avoid the people who would kill the dreams. Gen 37:19-20.

The unfavorable situations like false accusations cannot shut down the dreams Gen 39:11-20, neither the imprisonment Gen 40:6-22. The evil occurrences empower a person to have faith in God and patience to wait still for the dream might take a long time to happen. After many years, Josephus’s plans unfolded on four occasions: first, when Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s butler and baker’s dreams in prison Gen 40:6-23. Second, when he interpreted Pharaoh’s dream Gen 41:28-32. Third, when  Pharaoh put Joseph in charge of the whole land of Egypt Gen 41:41,  and finally when Joseph’s brothers threw themselves before him Gen 50:18-21.

The story reminds me of suffering from police brutality because of false accusations discussed in one of the posts. The other most hurtful situation was when cancer killed my husband. For seven years of remaining a widow, yet God blessed me with another husband. Again, after surviving the police beating, I was blessed with a college education in Atlanta, Georgia, improving my potentials. The takeaway: the faith in God, wisdom, and patience gave Joseph the courage to wait for the dream to unfold at God’s right time, showing that the blocks on the way to the vision put the shadow on the path to hide the goal, yet God lights the dark tunnel to see the end.
