THE CHRISMAS 2021

THE GOOD NEWS 

The purpose of Christmas is a reminder to the world of the love of God, salvation, and eternal life with Jesus Christ.

(Isaiah prophecy)

1. Isaiah prophesied the birth of Jesus Christ,

   Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

II. Of the greatness of his government and peace

    there will be no end

 establishing and upholding it

    with justice and righteousness

    from that time on and forever.

Purpose of Jesus Christ birth:

1. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great JOY for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord
2. Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
3. “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on 

whom his favor rests.”

4. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child,

Jesus told Nicodemus

5. … “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
6. “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
7. so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”
8. 16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 
9. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 
10. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son have eternal life.

Conclusion:

The Christmas: set-aside time to remember the birth of Jesus and to check us on three most important things:

1. Do I believe Jesus
2. Am I saved and have a prince of peace in me
3. Am I prepared to enter eternal life with Jesus?
