LEARNING SELF

Learning self, for Example, Self-discovery for Isaiah.

Confidence in God is part of self-knowledge and Isaiah confessed his faith in God following the death of his cousin, King Uzziah of Judah for 52 years (2 Chronicles 26:3, NIV). Isaiah appears to have been captivated by his cousin’s remarkable life and unwavering faith in God. It appears that the death of Uzziah helped Isaiah discover who he was and what he could do. Isaiah admitted that he was prone to using foul language because of the toxic environment in which he lived. As a result of God’s intervention, he became a worldwide prophet even in our day. As Isaiah picked up the wicked words from the people around him, I believe that watching others achieve greatness may keep us from exploring our own abilities, and we may regard any inauthentic behavior as a sign of our own inability. We find our abilities through dealing with our weaknesses. Here I am. I can do it.” “Give me your address!” As a result, the family, the neighborhood, and the entire world would benefit from a sense of quiet and serenity if everyone knew and did what they were capable of.

When you pray for God’s help in learning about yourself, he answers your prayer by giving you the correct self to do what is beneficial to both you and others.
