A mother’s heart of the family

Inspiration from Mother and the Love of Family

From my heart to yours, with love and gratitude.

A love of a mother. Tonight, I would like to take a moment to speak personally to all of my cherished adult children, regardless of how you entered this world or how you became a member of our family, whether you were born into this world or joined our family through other methods. It is impossible for me to adequately convey how proud I am of every one of you. I want to reassure you that a guiding light in Jesus can help you carry your loads and show you the path. Life’s journey is fraught with problems, but I want to reassure you that there is a leading light in Jesus.

Your constant companions will be prayers and an unshakeable faith in Jesus, and they will be ready to listen to every concern and need you have. You don’t have to get down on your knees or close your eyes to talk to Him; your conversation with him can be as straightforward yet meaningful as the love that runs through our household.

When I was 40 years old with four little children and another on the way, we decided to open a new chapter by moving to Georgia. Looking back on our trip, I can’t believe how far we’ve come. The difficulties were virtually innumerable, ranging from adjusting to a new culture with its distinctive cuisine, dress, and educational methods to negotiating the nuances of intercultural relationships and marriage complications. But despite everything that has happened, you have continued to face each new day with bravery, resiliency, and the drive to overcome any obstacle, regardless of how long or intense it may be.

I appreciate your handling your fundamental needs and ensuring we are happy. Your capacity to function as a unified and loving family unit melts my heart daily, and I applaud you. You have successfully created connections and friendships in various settings, including the workplace, amongst yourselves, neighbors, and others from different backgrounds. Your ability to recognize and appreciate the one-of-a-kind qualities possessed by each person, the outgoing and cordial manner in which you conduct yourself, is illustrative of your kind of person.

You are not simply a group of individuals but a collective wellspring of motivation and emotional support. Knowing that you are making the world a better place through the love and care you give your children, nieces, and nephews gives me a tremendous sense of serenity. Your steadfast trust in God and genuine concern for the well-being of your children, nieces, and nephews bring me this sense of calm.

Even more incredible is the fact that you have been able to parlay the abundance of intellectual capital that you have accumulated into financial success through the application of technology. I challenge you to consider retiring earlier than planned and devoting the rest of your life to doing good for as long as possible. After forty, living should no longer be a quest but a happy voyage.

Remember our simple origins when your parents struggled to make ends meet with their wages? Now consider the legacy that we’ve created from those beginnings. Despite this, we successfully purchased a plot of land and a home in the city where we had previously lived. We were forced to buy at wholesale stores in the United States because our combined incomes were low and because we were required to do so. You inherited this habit. Despite our difficulties, we got a mortgage and established a secure life for our family. Please evaluate your development concerning age and the possibilities and resources you are open to. Make it your goal to leave the world in a better state than you found it in when you first entered it. Consider starting a retirement kit for future generations, both born and unborn.

Let’s meet on Zoom or in-person to discuss our individual or collective travels over a dinner we’ll enjoy together. I am indescribably proud of every one of you, and I thank God daily for how your presence brightens my life. My greatest hope is that you will one day come to know the Lord Jesus and be saved by His grace, not only in this life but also in the life to come. May this be your experience? I may be aware of you residing in the heavenly house that Our Lord Jesus Christ promised you.

With all of my affection,

Mom
