SHIELDING BRAIN WITH HUMBLENESS

A strong family. Be kind to yourself. Talking to yourself and coming to your senses would be made easier by protecting the humbleness wall in your brain. A long, healthy life results from having a reasonable mind, which balances the body’s systems to function peacefully, gives one time to consider before acting irrationally and is emotionally stable.

For instance, in the Bible, the wandering son realized his error and chose wisely:

“When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father (Luke 15:17-20, NIV). Our Father God embraces in love us  whenever we wisely choose to return to Him.

Humility and the brain: The brain, embraced by virtue of humility, becomes a powerful force for reason and good judgment. We remain open to learning from others and our experiences when we approach life with humility, recognizing that we don’t have all the answers.

This lowly perspective is essential for balancing and ensuring the smooth operation of all the systems in our body. It enables us to handle life’s difficulties with composure, even in the face of problems. A humble brain urges us to take a step back, breathe, and reflect before acting, resulting in more reasoned and measured responses instead of being led by impulsive impulses.

We break free from the shackles of ego and pride by embracing humility. This liberation enables us to see things from several angles, which fosters compassion and understanding for other people. As a result, we develop stronger relationships with those close to us, building an encouraging and empathetic community.

A modest intellect is also more open to learning new things and having new experiences. It continuously strives to become better, looking out for progress and expansion. We develop into lifelong learners who are continually curious and receptive as we seek insight.

Our mental health is significantly impacted by humility. It protects us from unneeded worry and tension while encouraging inner tranquility and contentment. In turn has a favorable impact on our physical health, extending our lives and making them healthier.

So let’s work on developing a humble brain that appreciates the beauty of vulnerability, accepts its limitations, and recognizes the strength of group wisdom. We can confront life’s uncertainties with grace and resiliency when humble. Together, we can build a society where inspiration, knowledge, and compassion flourish, laying the foundation for a happier and more peaceful future. My takeaway is that I am never shy of being self-humble and to always be calm, especially in my weakness to be able to gain knowledge to move forward.
