How to Bring the Joy and Peace to Family

Be self-aware. Avoid making mistakes. The wrong you do affects your life, family, and the continued lives of many others, both near and far. For example, my errors occurred over the last three holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. I ate almost all of the goodies served during these three occasions, ignoring the proper diet for type 2 diabetes. The lab results confirmed raised hemoglobin A1c, cholesterol, and blood pressure following a stroke.

My health situation included my spouse’s stress, many specialists-eye, diabetes, speech, physical, diet, my entire family and their time and resources, concerned neighbors, friends, the church, my health insurance, my overseas trip canceled, and so on.

My errors caused me many problems, including stress, sleeplessness, church services, and blogging. Extra duties for my spouse include numerous medical visits, therapists and nurses, home visits, and so on.

In this situation, my takeaway is that when each family member is self-aware, does the right thing, and brings peace and joy to others in the family and the surrounding environment. When we do the right thing, we save money and resources, reduce stress, sleep better, and experience many other benefits. The statement “I am the salt and light of the world” hit home, and I realized that I had brought darkness to many people around me. Self-awareness is one of the most valuable assets you can give to your family and others for them to have the light shining forever.

Avoid the following “The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;  idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions  and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Do the following “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
